SPORTS AGAINST DEMENTIA
This is exactly what researchers have investigated in a Europe-wide study, including at the Cologne Sports University.
The so-called brain teaser study was aimed at people with the divinebeautytips onset of dementia. In other words: No dementia has yet been diagnosed, but the patients noticed an incipient forgetfulness or difficulty concentrating in everyday life.

For the study, it was also important that the subjects in the marketingmediaweb study had relatively little physical activity beforehand. The researchers led by Prof. Stefan Schneider wanted to investigate whether regular muscle work can influence the progression of dementia.
The focus of the sports program was on endurance techcrunchblog training and exercises designed to strengthen strength and coordination. Study participants took exercise classes either once or twice a week. Their results were compared with test persons who did not do any sport. All participants were thoroughly examined at the start of the study, after six months and after one year.
AND THE
RESULT?
The test subjects who had exercised not
only became physically fitter. They also did better in the concentration tests
- and their quality of life increased. The decisive factor for improvement in
all areas is the training frequency.
• Only those who had participated in the sports nanobiztech activities at least twice a week showed an improvement. Which sport the test persons practiced was irrelevant.
• Those who only attended once a week
showed at least no further deterioration.
• Those who remained inactive also
developed dementia.
